Every year the team with the best dual meet record and the winner of the CVSL Championship Meet and the team that was determined to be the most improved each get an award.

Golden Whistle Coach's Award
The award honors a coach within the Champlain Valley Swim League who has demonstrated a commitment to sportsmanship and good citizenship and has worked to instill these values in their team. The winner of the Golden Whistle award is announced at the CVSL Championship Meet on Saturday between Session 1 and Session 2.

Most Valuable Supporter Award
In memory of Allen Cummings and in recognition of his support for the sport of swimming, an award for Most Valuable Supporter will be presented each year. Officers of the CVSL Board of Directors are not themselves eligible for the award, but will determine the winner from among the list of names submitted from each team. The winner of the Al Cummings award is announced at the CVSL Championship Meet on Saturday between Session 1 and Session 2.
